Quick Start
Sign up, process your first image, and download the result in under 5 minutes.
Sign up
Go to sirv.studio and create an account with email, Google, or GitHub. Takes about 30 seconds.
You will land in an empty library. That is normal. Time to add some images.
Upload an image
Drag any product photo, headshot, or test image onto the library grid. You can also click the upload button or paste a URL.
Supported formats
JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, TIFF. Max 100 MB per file.
Pick a tool
Click your uploaded image to select it. Then open the tools panel and pick Background Removal. It is the fastest tool to try and costs just 1 credit.
You will see a preview of the tool settings. The default model (BiRefNet) works great for most images. Hit Run.
Wait a few seconds
Background removal typically takes 3 to 5 seconds. You will see a progress indicator on the image while it processes. The result appears as a new version of your image with a transparent background.
Click the image to open the detail view and compare the original with the processed version side by side.
Download your result
In the detail view, click the download button. Choose PNG to keep the transparent background, or pick another format if you prefer.
If you have a Sirv CDN account connected, you can also push the result straight to your CDN with one click.
Check your credit balance
Your credit balance is always visible in the sidebar. You started with 15 credits and just used 1 for background removal, so you should see 14 remaining.
